TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE FROM TERMITE ATTACK

Moisture:  Make sure the furniture is not exposed to moisture of any kind. Good ventilation results to get rid of excess moisture from home. Don’t keep furniture in the outdoors, especially in garden. Mulch like materials spread over the soil surface attract moisture during the Rainy season. Always use dry cloth to clean the wooden furniture instead of water.

Building Foundation Condition: Cracks in the building and foundation, usually tends to invite termites. They often find their way in construction gaps like an expansion joint. It commonly found around basements, moldings and beams.

Wood Polish: Regular wood polish is best way to keep safe your furniture from termites, use termite – resistant wood polish , which create hard and glossy coating over the wood which protect and preserve your furniture.

Homemade protection against termite attack:

Aloe Vera Gel:  Aloe vera is one of the best natural ways to create a thick barrier on your furniture, keep termites away. Gel we get from aloe vera leaf, mix with water. Spray the mixture over your furniture. Repeat the same procedure for some days.

Spray Neem Oil:  Neemoil will kill termites. It should be applied repeatedly on the furniture till termites are completely destroyed. Mix neem oil with water and few drops of dish soap, shake up the mixture and apply it on wooden furniture.

Salt Treatment (if small patches found): If any termite infestation as small patches, need to sprinkle the salt on the affected area. Also, salt+ water (same amount) can be injecting the affected place through syringe.
